What if one idea could change the
way you lead?

Audience at a speaking event

I love ideas that make us stop.

The ones that challenge something we’ve assumed to be true, open up a completely different way of seeing a problem or leave us asking a question we can’t quite put down.

That’s what I want to create when I speak.

Not simply more information to take away or another page of notes that gets filed away afterwards, but a shift in how people see themselves, their leadership and what’s possible.

My talks bring together stories, commercial experience, leadership psychology and provocative ideas designed to create curiosity, challenge and possibility.

Because sometimes one different thought really can change what happens next.

I want people to leave seeing something they couldn’t see when they walked in.

“I could listen to Tracy talk all day. She is thoughtful, considered, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Highly recommend her as a guest. Thank you Tracy!”

What Your Seven-Year-Old Self Knows About Leadership

What Your Seven-Year-Old Self
Knows About Leadership

Do you remember who you were when you were seven?

One minute you were an explorer. The next an inventor, a superhero, a teacher. You could become anyone, try anything and imagine possibilities without first needing to know whether they were realistic.

You were intensely curious. Radically open-minded. Constantly experimenting.

And you didn’t only play with what you did. You played with who you were being.

Then we grew up.

We learnt to be serious. We became more conscious of judgement and failure. We accumulated expertise, responsibility and pressure, and many of us became extraordinarily accomplished human doings.

Yet in a world moving faster than ever, some of what we knew instinctively at seven may be exactly what we need now.

This talk explores Intense Curiosity, Radical Open-Mindedness and Proactive Experimentation, a powerful state of mind that opens up our thinking, challenges assumptions and helps us see possibilities we might otherwise miss.

But it goes deeper than that.

Just as we did at seven, we can experiment not only with what we do, but with who we are being, exploring who we are capable of becoming and the transformational power of changing at the source.

A child meets uncertainty with curiosity. Adults often meet uncertainty with certainty.

From Inadvertent Bottleneck to Intentional Catalyst

From Inadvertent Bottleneck to
Intentional Catalyst

Why, despite having talented people around you, are you still carrying so much of the weight?

You want people to step up, take ownership and think for themselves. Yet somehow more decisions, problems and responsibility keep finding their way back to you.

But what if, with the very best intentions, you have inadvertently become part of the bottleneck?

This talk reveals some of the surprising ways our leadership can create the opposite of what we intend: why pushing for ownership can create dependency, how the state you bring into a room can change the quality of everyone else’s thinking, and why the identity that made you successful may quietly be keeping you at the centre of everything.

The shift is towards becoming an Intentional Catalyst, creating the conditions for more ownership, intelligence, capability and possibility to emerge around you.

What would become possible if more of your people’s best thinking made its way into your business?

The Invisible Boxes Shaping How You Lead

The Invisible Boxes
Shaping How You Lead

We all have Invisible Boxes.

You know the ones.

You can’t quite see them. You may not be able to name them. But you can feel their constraint.

You’ve prepared brilliantly for the pitch. You know your business inside out. Then, just before you walk into the room, the imposter appears: Who am I to be here?

Or perhaps it’s your team. Different person, different situation, same frustrating pattern. Why does this keep happening?

Maybe you’re staring at the numbers and the story in your head is already: We can’t afford it. But is that a fact, or an assumption that’s already narrowing the possibilities you’re willing to explore?

Invisible Boxes can be extraordinarily costly. They don’t only affect how we feel. They can shape the decisions we make, the opportunities we pursue, the relationships we create and ultimately the results we achieve.

What I’ve come to see is that our Invisible Boxes can be formed from many things: unseen assumptions, autopilot beliefs, unconscious identities and stories that feel so true we’ve stopped questioning them.

And that’s what makes them so powerful.

We don’t necessarily experience them as beliefs.

We experience them as reality.

This talk explores what happens when we begin to see the Invisible Box itself, not simply its consequences, and discover what becomes possible when we change something at the source.

What might become possible, personally, as a leader and commercially, if something you’ve assumed was reality turned out to be just an Invisible Box?

What happens when we get people thinking?

I’d rather let people who’ve experienced it tell you themselves.
